Thirty-six (36) golfers enjoyed another “bonus” day of good weather. The greens were still frozen which drove up the scores, but there was no wind again! Tink Moats’ team won the Front (-2). Vic Campbell’s team won the Back (-2) and Total (-2). Vic Campbell (73), Chris Bushey (73), Bill Kushay (74) and Mex “Bobby” Sanchez (75) were the low individual scores today.
Tomorrow’s forecast looks about the same, but Friday and Saturday look “wet” at the moment. We expect a decent turnout tomorrow (Thirsty Thursday) based on the forecast.
Hawk moved back into 1st Place in the Governor’s Cup 3 Race. His chip-in birdie on Hole 16 “cleared” and earned just enough points to overtake TJ Jones by one (1) point! Donnie Barton is lurking in the shadows and remains within striking distance of the leaders.
