Thirty-one (31) golfers played on a sunny, windy day with temps around 50. Max Tissue’s team won the Front (+2). Dirk Schultz’s team won the Back (Even) and tied the Total (+5) with Jim Young’s team. Dirk Schultz (74), Max Tissue (76), Jim Young (78), Pat Steiner (78), Rod Steiner (78), Mike Butts (79) and Jon Mann (79) were the golfers in the Sub-80s as the wind and fast greens made the scores skyrocket today!
AROUND THE HORN:
> The Governor finally got to play with Dr. Smirnoff today after a 3-month divorce. Smirnoff’s alcohol-to-air mixture just wasn’t right today causing him to balloon to a 90. After the round, The Governor said “it might be another 3 months before we play together again!”.
> Poop Deck came back to earth today shooting 85.
> Bobby (Mex) Sanchez’s team beat the 45-minute delay (last group to finish), 2-shot penalty by 30 seconds!
> Max Tissue remains “hot” and is quickly closing in on The Governor for 1st place. The Governor has a 189 point lead over Max with 10 days to go (April 30, 2018 is the last round in Governor’s Cup #1).
> Jim Young continues to position his handicap to optimize his picking position for The Governor’s Cup. Jim was a recent graduate from The Incredible Hawk’s Handicap Manipulation School. Jim graduated Summa Cum Laude and is quickly putting his “pumping skills” to work!
