Eight (8) golfers participated in one of the coldest days the Gang has experienced in quite a while. Temps were in the low 20’s, not much sunshine and winds hovering around 15 mph all day. On top of that, the greens were frozen (as expected)! Billy Reed’s team had a clean sweep (+2, +1, +3 total). Tim Steiner (75, medalist) and Jim Young (78) were the only golfers to break 80 today. Jim’s alcohol-to-air mixture was a little too rich on the back nine as he failed to make a par on that side, but he had three (3) birdies overall, including a chip-in on the final hole! Pat Steiner (842) overtook Donnie Barton (836) for the Governor’s Cup Lead. Donnie had a big week last week to overtake Pat, but it flip-flopped back today!
