52 players enjoyed another great day at Beaver Creek. The action was well split as the teams struggled to score low. The Front was a 4-way tie at Even Par. Rod Steiner’s team (+4  -5  -1) won the Back. Ed Middlekauff’s team (E  -3  -3) won the Total. Bill Young (39-32-71) lit up the Back as he carded 5 birdies and recorded a “32”. He led 14 golfers in the “SUB-80 Scoring”. “Big Daddy” Jim Ward eagled Hole #18.
