Eight golfers enjoyed a mild Winter day. The course played long due to the recent rains, but Greg Deck’s team had a clean sweep (Even, -1, -1).  Greg also led the scoring with a 75.  We expect a large group tomorrow with a forecast of 57 and sunny!

The weatherman missed the forecast and a lot of golfers missed a good day at Beaver Creek Country Club.  12 players played through a low 40s and calm day.  The greens were receptive and 6 of the 12 golfers scored in the 70s!  Keith Shindle’s team tied the Back Nine (Even) and won the Total (+1).  Tracy Piper’s team won the Front (-1).  Dirk Schultz’s team tied the Back Nine (Even).  Dirk led the scoring with a 70 and 4 birdies.

On a cold (39 deg) but sunny day, 4 players battled in an Individual Stableford format.  Scott Allen won the front nine with 20 points (+2), Pat Steiner won the back with 21 points (+3), and Mex Sanchez won the total with 36 points (0).

In one of the most balanced scoring fields ever, Pat Steiner’s team won the front (-3) and total (-1).  Bobcat’s team won the back (-1).  Jim Kyttle led the individual scoring with 72 (Even).  Jim Sklencar posted a 73 with 17 pars, while Pat Steiner and Hawk also shot 73.  Tink Moats also had it going, shooting a 74, but 3-putted his last three holes!

On a cold, late-Fall afternoon, 25 golfers battled the elements and slippery greens.  Tim Steiner’s team won the Front (-5) and Total (-3).  Randy Cree’s team played hole # 18 at 3-under, which brought them back to even par on the Back Nine, and good enough to snip two other teams.  Tim Steiner led the Sub-80 scoring with 72.
